Service Description

Lake Neltume is a glacial lake, one of the members of the well-known group of seven lakes. The lake has two major tributaries: the Cua cuá River to the north and the Chan chán River to the southeast, and only one effluent, the short Neltume River, which soon joins the Fuy River, which flows from Lake Pirehueico, giving rise to the Llanquihue River, which ends its course and eventually empties into Lake Panguipulli, part of the upper basin of the Valdivia River. It takes its name from the Mapudungun word montulvn we, meaning "liberated place."
